What is Pilates? Created by Joseph Pilates, Pilates is a complete mind-body exercise system utilizing a mat or specialized equipment to improve upon the core principles of concentration, control, centering, precision, flow and breathing. At Underground, we work to incorporate these principles in strength-building, athletic flow classes. Pilates is for EVERY body. We work through contemporary movement, incorporate props, and apply movement principles to build a stronger you. Whether it be in group classes or private instruction, we’re happy to help you find the best fit for where you are in your fitness journey.
